According to a Declaration by former Motown Chairwoman and CEO Ethiopia Habtemariam, Motown Records, with the consent of Defendant UMG, and presumably, Ms. Habtemariam's direct supervisor, Defendant Lucian Grainge, entered a general partnership, as that term is defined by the laws of the State of New York, with Defendants Love Records, Inc. and Sean Combs.
